2025 Christmas markets

The countdown has begun and Piazza Bra is preparing to welcome the Christmas Markets for the first time. Around 60 wooden huts will be arranged in an L-shape between the Arena and the Town Hall, while the gardens will host the food section, plus an area dedicated to services.

You can also visit the exhibition ‘Presepi dal Mondo’ (Nativity Scenes from Around the World), which will be held from 16 November 2025 to 18 January 2026 at the Palazzo del Capitanio (Cortile del Tribunale 4). Now in its 41st edition, the event features hundreds of nativity scenes and works of art from around the world.

ARENA OPERA FESTIVAL 2026

The Arena Opera Festival 2026 will present a programme rich in classical works and innovations. Highlights include the eagerly awaited return of Aida in two productions (Poda’s “crystal” version and Zeffirelli’s) and a new production of La Traviata, along with Nabucco, La Bohème and Turandot. There will also be special events such as Carmina Burana and the revolutionary immersive show Viva Vivaldi.
